Vibrant Bullfinch Greeting Card

Bullfinches are in decline, with an estimated drop of nearly 40% since 1970 due to loss of woodlands and headgerows.

This Bullfinch was photographed in a Pembrokeshire garden, in a place of quiet contrasts: a waterway alive with wildlife on one side, an oil refinery on the other. And yet, in the middle of it all, there was stillness. A small, ordinary bird, and a moment of wonder, reminding us that the wild is often closer than we think.
